Online training and education have been widely adopted by Universities and Colleges for over a decade and other industries are catching on too. In 2016 the National Rifle Association (NRA) also announced their first online training for their blended Basic Pistol Course.
There are a couple of Unrestricted or Constitutional Carry states, but a lot are Shall-Issue or May-Issue. One of the major resemblances between these states when it involves concealed carry is that many ask you to show competency with a handgun before you get your license.
The most general means to prove your capability is to take a firearms training course.
If you want to attain your concealed convey permit or license, you may have to prove competence with a handgun and/or take a firearms safety or training course.
Specific requirements will depend on your state, but the majority of states require that you take a class of any kind. This could be anything from 15 or more hour classroom and range training course to a couple of hours learning your state’s laws.
